不是謠言-ICANN的確研議要推出一堆TLD

原文在此 很長 我就不貼了 只摘錄些些重點 裡面提到 (ICANN) is taking another step towards its goal of bringing new generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs) online with today’s launch of a public consultation on a key report from ICANN’s Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO). ICANN剛成了 GNSO -成立這是幹麻呢? “This is all about providing Internet users with choice. More top-level domains – the part of the domain name that comes after the last dot – mean more competition, more options, and the possibility for more targeted or user-specific domain names,” 為了讓使用者有更多的"top-level domains – the part of the domain name that comes after the last dot" 簡單的說 就是在網域點後面 有更多的選擇 不再只有我們熟知的.com .net ..... 以後可能超過1000種以上的tld會出現(文件內提到的):L 至於這樣的政策會有何效應? 各位睿智的版友應該會比我做出更精確的判斷吧?
